Do you offer adult classes? Yes, although most classes are for kids. Please take a look at our workshops as some of them are for all ages. We also offer private and/or small group classes that are made by appointment only.
Are you flexible with ages? Of course! Every child develops in their own way. If you have questions about whether a specific class will meet your child’s needs, contact us.
Do you offer sibling discounts? Yes, we offer a 5% sibling discount.
Do you offer scholarships? Please email us to inquire.
Do you offer drop-ins? Yes, Open Studio time is on most Saturdays from 10-11.
How many students are in a class? Usually no more than 16. Camps can have up to 20.
How many children can attend a birthday party? Our party packages start at 15 kids (including the birthday child and siblings). We charge $15 each additional child and we suggest no more than 20 attendees.
What should my child wear? At Foster Art we are ok with messes and we encourage children to explore the non toxic paints and other materials. We cannot guarantee that all materials will come out in the wash, so please dress your child in clothes that are ok with getting messy. We will have smocks for those who may request one.
What kind of materials do you use? All supplies and materials are chosen to be developmentally appropriate. For children under 6, all materials are non- toxic and chosen to engage their senses in a safe manner. For elementary children, we sometimes use tools and supplies like Sharpie markers and hot glue guns to increase the quality of the work. These materials give us the opportunity to talk about safety and develop respect and responsibility for materials.
Can my child ride their bike to Foster Art? Yes! If it's ok with you and they are given permission to ride with or without supervision, it's up to the parents/guardians to decide if their child is able to ride their bike to our location. We will have a bike rack for you to lock your bike onto.
What is your cancellation policy? We do not issue refunds, only studio credit to apply to upcoming classes using the equivalent cost, so it's important to plan ahead. We are not able to refund or offer private makeup classes for missed classes.
